AUBURN, AL - Middle Tennessee volleyball improved to 7-3 with a 3-0 win (30-17, 30-16, 30-19) over host Auburn (1-6) at the War Eagle Invitational Friday.
The Lady Raider were led by sophomore KeKe Deckard who had 19 kills and a .567 hitting percentage. She was the only Middle Tennessee player in double figures, with Katie Thiesen following in scoring with nine kills.
Overall Middle Tennessee dominated the court with a .370 hitting percentage in contrast to Auburns .114. In game two the Lady Raiders posted a .517 hitting percentage.
The Lady Raiders return to action in the War Eagle Invitational at 2 p.m. on Saturday when Middle Tennessee faces Wyoming.
