Clarksville, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee volleyball improved to 9-4 with a 3-1 win (30-26, 23-30, 31-29, 30-25) win over Austin Peay (3-8) Wednesday at Dunn Center.
The Lady Raiders were paced by sophomore KeKe Deckard who had a team high 17 kills and matched that with 18 digs. Senior Erin Hillstrom also had a double-double performance with 11 kills and 19 digs.
Freshman Kimberly Moeller had a big defensive night as she registered a career high 13 digs as Middle Tennessees libero player. The Lady Raiders had a .224 attack percentage for the match, almost doubling Austin Peays .153.
The Lady Raiders will be back in action on Wednesday September 25 when they open Sun Belt Conference play by hosting Western Kentucky at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Gym.
