MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Blue Raiders are 14th in the country after improving to 9-0 on the season as announced in the CSTV/American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 Poll.

Middle Tennessee received 670 votes in the poll which is 17 more than it received in the poll a week ago. The Blue Raiders are one of just six undefeated teams in the Top-25.
Wisconsin moved in front of the Blue Raiders to 13th, after being ranked 14th a week ago, after defeating Central Michigan, IUPUI and No. 23 BYU over the weekend.
Middle Tennessee remains the only Sun Belt team ranked in the poll and is currently the only league team receiving votes.
Middle Tennessee remained undefeated over the weekend with wins over South Carolina State, UT Arlington and Duke. The Blue Raiders defeated the first two opponents easily 3-0 and 3-1 respectively but the Blue Devils were a different story. Middle Tennessee trailed 2-0 to Duke before rallying to win the match.
Middle Tennessee will travel to Ohio this weekend, Sept. 18-21, to play Ohio University, Xavier and Tulane.
