Getting to Middle Tennessee

From Nashville

Nashville is approximately 35 miles north of Murfreesboro.
Drive time will take 40 to 60 minutes pending traffic.

Following are the directions to assist your travel:

  • From I-24 east, take Exit 78B; follow State Highway 96 North to Clark Boulevard.
  • Turn right on Clark Boulevard.
  • Follow Clark Blvd. (which becomes Middle Tennessee Boulevard) to its intersection with Greenland Drive.
  • Turn left on Greenland Drive where the Murphy Center and Floyd Stadium are located on your right.

    From Nashville International Airport:

  • Enter Briley Parkway and continue south to the Interstate-24 junction.
  • Take I-24 East to Exit 78B; follow Highway 96 North to Clark Boulevard.
  • Turn right on Clark Boulevard.
  • Follow Clark Blvd. (which becomes Middle Tennessee Boulevard) to its intersection with Greenland Drive.
  • Turn left on Greenland Drive where the Murphy Center and Floyd Stadium are located on your right.

    From Memphis

    Visitors to campus travel through Nashville.

    Following are the directions to assist your travel:

  • From I-24 east, take Exit 78B; follow Highway 96 North to Clark Boulevard.
  • Turn right onto Clark Boulevard.
  • Follow Clark Blvd. (which becomes Middle Tennessee Boulevard) to its intersection with Greenland Drive.
  • Turn left on Greenland Drive where the Murphy Center and Floyd Stadium are located just to the right.

    From Birmingham

    Following are the directions to assist your travel:

  • Take I-65 North to SR-840 East.
  • Follow SR-840 East to the Highway 70 exit and proceed east toward Murfreesboro.
  • Continue east on Highway 70 until its intersection with Highway 96; turn left onto Highway 96.
  • Continue on Highway 96 until its intersection with Clark Boulevard; turn right on Clark Blvd. (which becomes Middle Tennessee Boulevard) and proceed to Greenland Drive.
  • Turn left onto Greenland Drive where the Murphy Center and Floyd Stadium are located on your right.

    From Knoxville

    Knoxville is approximately 180 miles east of campus.
    Drive time will take two hours and 45 minutes to three hours.

    Following are the directions to assist your travel:

  • Take Interstate-40 West and exit onto SR-840.
  • Follow SR-840 West to the Highway 70 exit and proceed east toward Murfreesboro.
  • Continue east on Highway 70 until its intersection with Highway 96; turn left onto Highway 96.
  • Continue on Highway 96 until its intersection with Clark Boulevard; turn right on Clark Blvd. (which becomes Middle Tennessee Boulevard) and proceed to Greenland Drive.
  • Turn left onto Greenland Drive where the Murphy Center and Floyd Stadium are located on your right.

    From Chattanooga

    Chattanooga is approximately 100 miles southeast of Murfreesboro.
    Drive time from Chattanooga will take 90 to 100 minutes.

    Following are the directions to assist your travel:

  • Take I-24 West to Exit 81, Highway 231.
  • Follow U.S. Highway 231 North to Middle Tennessee Boulevard.
  • Turn right onto Middle Tennessee Boulevard and proceed past Murphy Center to Greenland Drive.
  • Turn right onto Greenland Drive. The Greenland Drive parking lot is located on your right.
