Teams make nine total appearances
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's and women's basketball teams will be featured on ESPN3 a total of nine times as part of Conference USA's partnership with ESPN, the league office announced today.
The Blue Raider women have been selected for half of the 10 C-USA women's basketball games, while the men will play four games on ESPN3 and all four games will be televised from Murphy Center. Four of the five women's games also will be televised from Middle Tennessee's home venue.
Both Middle Tennessee basketball teams are coming off of championship seasons.
Head Coach Kermit Davis' Blue Raiders will play on ESPN3 against league rivals Southern Miss (Jan. 26) and Louisiana Tech (Jan. 28), and against FIU (March 2) and Florida Atlantic (March 4).
Head Coach Rick Insell's Lady Raiders will be featured on ESPN3 at home against league foes FIU (Jan. 19), UTSA (Feb. 2), UTEP (Feb. 4) and Marshall (Feb. 18). The Lady Raiders' game at Charlotte (Feb. 11) also will be on ESPN3.
Additional games could be selected for ESPN3 broadcasts.
