CAMP INFORMATION
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Starting Monday, Middle Tennessee softball will begin hosting hitting and fielding camps for local softball players ages 10 and up.
The camps, led by hitting coach Ashley Lane are designed to develop the softball skills of young local softball players with an emphasis on hitting or fielding. Offensive camp attendees will work on fundamental development through drill work, game strategy, and the mental side of hitting. Defensive campers will focus on the fundamentals of fielding while working on glovework, footwork and throwing.
Camps will be held on select nights beginning Oct. 17 starting at 5:00 p.m. at the indoor hitting facility next to Blue Raider Softball Field. The hitting sessions run 35 minutes and are limited to two girls per session. The fielding sessions are 45 minutes and allow for 4-6 girls per session. Campers must provide their own helmet, bat, glove, turf or tennis shoes (no cleats) and water.
For more information or to see available sessions, see the hitting/fielding camp information sheet posted on the softball page at www.GoBlueRaiders.com.
