MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A total of 18 regular season games have been selected from the 2016-17 Middle Tennessee men's basketball schedule to be broadcast by Conference USA's TV partners.
"We're really excited about being on TV at least 18 times and possibly more and also very excited about our new TV partners in Conference USA," Head Coach Kermit Davis said.
"I think having 18 games selected is a reflection on the success of our program in previous years and we're looking forward to the MT brand growing and growing nationally at an even higher rate."
The Blue Raiders will play three games on CBS Sports Network, beginning with a non-conference clash with Nashville rival Vanderbilt in Murfreesboro. The Raiders and Commodores will tip at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 8.
The Raiders will also have a pair of road games on CBSSN when they travel to WKU on Feb. 16 for an 8:00 p.m. contest and UAB on Feb. 26 for a noon tip.
Four MT contests have been chosen by American Sports Network in 2016-17, starting with a return trip to VCU on Dec. 17 that is set for 6:00 p.m.
Middle will play three conference match-ups on ASN as a home meeting with WKU on Jan. 14 at 7:00 p.m. as well as road contests at UTEP (Feb. 4) and Marshall (Feb. 18) will all be aired on the network.
New Conference USA TV partner beIN has selected a trio of MT conference games for 2016-17. The Raiders will play on beIN at Rice on Jan. 5 and again in home contests against Marshall on Jan. 12 at 7:00 p.m. and Old Dominion on Feb. 9 at 7:00 p.m.
The Blue Raiders will play four home games on ESPN3 in the upcoming season and will also be featured on SEC Network + in 7:00 p.m. contest at Ole Miss on Nov. 30.
The Blue Raiders will host Southern Miss (Jan. 26), LA Tech (Jan. 28), FIU (Mar. 2) and Florida Atlantic (Mar. 4) in the Murphy Center in games to be streamed live on ESPN3.
Campus Insiders added three games in Murfreesboro to the broadcast schedule for Middle Tennessee with a non-conference game against Murray State (Nov. 15) and conference games against UAB (Jan. 1) and Charlotte (Feb. 11).
The Blue Raiders will also have the opportunity to play three or more postseason games on television as the Conference USA Tournament quarterfinals will be broadcast on ASN while the semifinals and championship game will be televised on CBSSN.
