Duncan wins Trevecca Fall Invite

GALLATIN, Tenn. – Senior men's golfer Drake Duncan brought home medalist honors at the 2016 Trevecca Men's Invitational at the Foxland Harbor Golf and Country Club (par 72, 7,061 yards). Duncan had rounds of 74-67 to seal the victory. The tournament was a 36-hole event.

Duncan, James Beckner and Hoyeong Kim were playing as individuals in the 72-player field.

Duncan rebounded nicely from a first round 74 to shoot a 5-under par 67 in the final round for a 3-under total. Duncan led the entire field in par 3 scoring at 3-under and was tied for fourth in par 5 scoring at 5-under par. He also led the way with nine birdies.

Beckner, who shared the tournament lead by playing the par 5s at 7-under, finished third overall at 1-under par. Beckner had seven birdies and led the way with two eagles to card rounds of 72-71.

Kim tied for 30^th after posting rounds of 78-77.
