Blue Raiders start two-match road trip with WKU

MT seeks to even season series Saturday
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For one of the final road games of the season, Middle Tennessee travels to No. 21 WKU Saturday afternoon for a C-USA showdown.

The Hilltoppers lead the all-time series 40-15, while the Blue Raiders are seeking to even the season series after WKU took the first meeting earlier this year in Murfreesboro. MT is also in search of its first win against WKU since 2011.
Dora Peonia paced the Blue Raiders (5-21, 2-9) in their last outing against UTEP, while Makila York and Aubrie Huddleston each added eight kills in the effort.
Jacqueline Lux tallied 27 assists and eclipsed the 1,000 assist mark for her career.
The Hilltoppers (24-2, 11-0) are led by Alyssa Cavanaugh and Rachel Anderson with 4.33 and 3.35 kills per set, respectively. Setter Jessica Lucas sits atop the league with 11.42 assists per set.
Following this weekend's action against WKU, Middle Tennessee will close the two-match road trip with a visit to FIU Thursday in Miami. The match against the Panthers is set for 6 p.m. CT.
