Blue Raiders ready for final road test

MT awaits showdown with FIU
MIAMI, Fla. — For the final time in the 2016 season, Middle Tennessee hits the road for a C-USA showdown against FIU Thursday afternoon in Miami.
The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series with a 20-8 record and hold a two-match winning streak against the Panthers.
In their last time out, the Blue Raiders (5-22, 2-10) dropped a three-set match at No. 21 WKU Saturday. Makila York led Middle Tennessee with eight kills and had a season-high six digs. York has also averaged 9.33 kills per match over the last six outings.
Jacqueline Lux continues to pace the offense at the setter position with 8.68 assists per set, which also stands as seventh in the league.
FIU (8-18, 2-10) returns to FIU arena after dropping a pair of five-set thrillers at UTEP and UTSA last weekend.
Senior Katie Hogan leads the Panthers with 284 kills and ranks second on the squad with 212 digs. Junior Jennifer Ene provides a balanced threat as she leads the team in blocks (79) and hitting percentage (.267).
Following Thursday's contest, the Blue Raiders return to AMG Saturday to host North Texas in the season finale. The Blue Raiders will also honor graduating junior Jacqueline Lux before Saturday's action.
