Hawaiian Q&A with Hunter Rogers

While the Blue Raiders are practicing at home in preparation for the 2016 Hawaii Bowl, GoBlueRaiders.com will talk to various players about their upcoming trip to the island. Today's brief Q&A is with offensive lineman Hunter Rogers.
Have you ever been to Hawaii?
I have not.
What's one thing you're looking forward to other than the weather?
Probably just the beaches, seeing that side of the U.S. and the ocean.
Are you looking forward to Hawaii more than you were the Bahama's last year?
I'm looking forward to it about the same. Going to see Pearl Harbor is something I've always wanted to do, so I think that excites me more than going to the Bahamas.
How will you keep yourself busy on the flight?
Probably just listen to music. Maybe watch a movie or two. I might try to sleep, but there's no telling how that will go.
Who has the best hula dance on the offensive line?
Probably Chandler Brewer. He's my roommate, and once he gets going and gets in a good mood, he'll cut a rug.
How many Hawaiian shirts do you own?
I have one I got for Christmas last year and I wear it all the time. I actually wore it to the bowl selection party. Coach Brock gave me some, too, so I'll be packing and taking them.
What offensive lineman is most likely to throw on a coconut bra when you're there?
I would say Dan Stephens, maybe. I could see someone convincing him to. He'd be an easy one to convince.
Are you looking forward to any water activities?
Hopefully we'll get to go snorkeling. Last year we just sat in the water and just chilled out.
What's your favorite beach activity?
Just lounging and going for a swim and seeing that crystal clear water.
