Bring in three on defense, two on offense
MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee Head Coach Rick Stockstill announced today the signing of five mid-term student-athletes to scholarship agreements. All five will enroll at Middle Tennessee in January.
The Raiders inked three defensive players and two on offense with all five coming from the junior college ranks. Stockstill brought in a safety, a cornerback, one defensive lineman and then a running back and lineman on offense.
"I think this class embodies a lot of hard work by our coaches to find high quality people and players to fill gaps in our roster left by graduation," said Stockstill. "We knew we needed to find individuals who could potentially make an impact once they stepped on campus, and we think these guys can do that. We knew adding depth defensively would be a priority for us in the junior college ranks. Offensively, we knew adding a junior college offensive lineman and a running back would be key. I am excited to get these guys on campus and being part of our team."
