Hawaiian Q&A with Canon Rooker

While the Blue Raiders are practicing at home in preparation for the 2016 Hawaii Bowl, GoBlueRaiders.com will talk to various players about their upcoming trip to the island. Today's brief Q&A is with cornerback Canon Rooker.
Have you ever been to Hawaii?
Actually, yes I have. My dad, being in the military, was stationed in Hawaii two or three years back like 15 years ago. But I have no recollection of anything.
What's one thing you're looking forward to other than the weather?
I'm just kind of looking forward to getting there and enjoying the time with my teammates. I'm really looking forward to Pearl Harbor, I think that is going to be an awesome experience, and I'm going to try to do some snorkeling or something like that.
What are your feelings on pineapple and Spam?
I love pineapple, but I've never had Spam. I don't think I'd be a big fan of that.
Are you looking forward to Hawaii more than you were for the Bahama's last year?
I think they're both kind of the same. It's definitely something that not many people get to say that during their time in college they were able to go to Hawaii and the Bahama's for free, and especially going with some of your best friends, so I'm definitely excited.
How will you keep yourself busy on the flight?
I'm going to try and sleep some if I can. I'll probably rent a movie series or something like that.
Who has the best hula dance on the team?
I would probably have to go with Tristan Walker.
How many Hawaiian shirts do you own?
Maybe one, but there's no doubt I'll get more.
What guy is most likely to throw on a coconut bra when you're there?
I'll go with Shaquille Huff.
What's your favorite beach activity?
I just kind of enjoy the sand and hanging out with the water in a chair and drinking a Coke.
