Coach Aston Rhoden announces camp March 28-30
MURFREESBORO – The Blue Raider Soccer team will host a Spring Break soccer camp March 28-30 from 9AM to 12PM at the soccer practice field located on Greenland Drive. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-13 years and will welcome all levels of soccer experience.
The Blue Raider soccer staff and current players will oversee the camp which will focus on individual skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, receiving as well as some team concepts through the use of fun small-sided games.
"We are very excited to host this camp over spring break. It gives our campers the opportunity to improve their soccer skills and knowledge while enjoying a break from school", Head Coach Aston Rhoden said. "Our staff and student athletes are looking forward to connecting with our young fans and having a fun time with this camp."
In addition to the soccer training, campers will also have the chance to win soccer prizes as well as participate in an autograph session after the camp.
Participants will need to bring a soccer ball, water bottle, soccer cleats or tennis shoes, shin guards, and dress appropriately for soccer practice. It is highly recommended that players wishing to participate register early, as space is limited and there will not be a waiting list for this camp.
Online registration is available www.mtsusoccercamps.com/summer-camps-academy.cfm.
