MT to Compete in Henssler Financial Collegiate

KENNESAW, Ga. – Pinetree Country Club will play host to the Henssler Financial Collegiate Monday and Tuesday as Middle Tennessee appears in the 12-team field for their third tournament this spring.
The par 72 course is setup at 6,032 yards for the tournament with two rounds to be played Monday and the third and final round set for Tuesday.
Middle Tennessee, currently ranked No. 53 by Golfstat, is ranked behind only No. 26 Texas Tech and No. 34 Augusta in the field and is also joined by conference foe Old Dominion.
Chattanooga, ETSU, Georgetown, Kennesaw State, Illinois, Mercer, South Florida and Troy will complete the field in Kennesaw.
Avery George and Emily Miller will lead the Middle Tennessee lineup, both coming off of top 25 finishes in their last competition at the MountainView Collegiate.
Freshmen Hanley Long and Jenna Burris will be making their sixth and seventh appearances of the season, respectively.
Lacie York will complete the Blue Raider lineup at Pinetree Country Club, making her second appearance of the season and first as a member of the lineup.
Maddie Denton also joins MT in Kennesaw playing as an individual.
Round one will begin with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. CT and round two will follow. Live scoring can be followed at Golfstat.com.
