Men's Hoops Earns No. 2 Seed in C-USA Tournament

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - With the 11th 21 win season in school history and the fourth in the last five seasons, the Middle Tennessee men's basketball team has earned the No. 2 seed and a Wednesday bye in the upcoming Conference USA Tournament in Birmingham.
The Blue Raiders (21-9, 13-5 C-USA) are one of four teams who will have the day off Wednesday. Middle's first action of the tournament will come on Thursday at 6 p.m. when it takes on the winner of Wednesday's 6 p.m. tilt between No. 7 Charlotte and No. 10 Rice.
With a win on Thursday, The Blue Raiders would face either No. 3 LA Tech, No. 6 UTEP or No. 11 FIU at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in a contest televised on CBS Sports Network.
The Conference USA Tournament Championship game will take place on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
Each of Middle Tennessee's games in the tournament will take place inside Legacy Arena at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center.
