Baseball leads way with 34
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee has placed 166 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic performances during the 2015-16 academic year, according to Conference USA Commissioner Judy MacLeod.
Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better to be named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal. Those winners will be released Wednesday.
Baseball placed nearly every member of its roster on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a remarkable 34 student-athletes making the list. Football placed 27 on the list, followed by women's soccer (20), softball (14), volleyball (11), women's track and field (10), men's track and field (10), men's tennis (9), women's tennis (8), women's golf (7), women's basketball (6), men's golf (6) and men's basketball (4).
