Webb inks Saulo from Finland

MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee men's golf coach Brennan Webb announced today the signing of IIaro Saulo to a scholarship agreement. Saulo joins Chip Thomas and Tyler Johnson to make up the 2016 class.
Saulo, from Helsinki, Finland, is rated among the top amateur golfers in the world. A member of the Finnish National Team, Saulo won the Greg Norman International Junior and finished in the top 15 of the European Boys Championship.
Saulo also won the 2015 European Men's Club Trophy with rounds of 67-68-65, while earning a top 15 at the 2015 Finnish Amateur and grabbed a runner up at the South African International Boys Championship.
"We are very excited that Ilari has decided to become a Blue Raider," said Webb. "He will bring a wealth of international experience having had tremendous success all over the world in the upper echelons of amateur golf. I look for him to step in to the lineup right away in the fall and become a great player for us over his career."
