Raiders Conclude First Day at Penn

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – On the first day of the historic Penn Relays, the Blue Raider women's squad competed in the 4x400-meter relay and the long jump
In the 4x400-meter relay, the team of Taylor Day, Susan Aneno, Loveth Odia and Agnes Abu finished 15th in 3:46.03. The Blue Raiders qualified for the 4x400 College Final, which is scheduled for Saturday.
Elizabeth Dadzie, India Hammond and Pershawna Williams competed in the long jump, with Dadzie competing in the championship division.
Dadzie earned the Blue Raiders best distance of the day, leaping 5.88 meters (19-3.5) for fifth.
In the college division, India Hammond finished fourth after jumping 5.66 meters (18-7), while Pershawna Williams finished 15th after leaping 5.54 meters (18-2.25).
Middle Tennessee continues competition at the Penn Relays Friday.
