Blue Raiders Heating Up In Summer Leagues

Four players named to All-Star Games
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders are heating up in the Collegiate Baseball Summer Leagues, producing four All-Stars this summer. Carson Lester, Brad Jarreau, Drew Huff, and Chase Hensley all earned an All-Star bid in their respective leagues.
Aaron Aucker I INF I Edenton Steamers I Coastal Plain League
In a 26-6 Steamers win on July 18, the right-handed slugger had himself a day, going 2-for-5 with an unheard of two grand slams and eight RBI in the same game. Aucker is also still leading the team with 36 RBI and 11 doubles.
Austin Dennis I INF I Forest City Owls I Coastal Plain League
Dennis has been on fire from the plate lately, torching solo home runs in both games of the Owls doubleheader on July 20. The right hander hit an impressive three homers, while sporting a .300 batting average over his last five games.
Reid Clements I RHP I Thomasville Hi-Toms I Coastal Plain League
Clements has been superb in his last two relief efforts with the Hi-Toms, picking up his first save of the summer on July 20, throwing three innings, allowing no earned runs, and striking out four. On July 17, the righty came on in relief and pitched a solid 1-2/3 innings, only giving up one hit and no runs. The rising redshirt junior is leading the Hi-Toms in multiple categories this summer, ERA (1.14), appearances (12), and strikeouts (28).
Kaleb King I OF I Hamilton Joes I Great Lakes League
The rising senior is sporting an extraordinary .317 batting average, while leading the team with 11 doubles. On July 17, King had an outstanding game with the Joes, going 3-for-4 with two runs, and two RBI. Over his past five starts, the slugger is averaging .500 at the plate.
Riley Delgado I INF I Plymouth Pilgrims I New England League
Delgado is continuing his strong summer campaign, amounting an impressive .400 average over his last five contests. The upperclassmen has collected at least one hit in five of his last six games. On July 16, Delgado went a perfect 3-for-3 with a run, and a double.
Blake Benefield I IF/OF I Lake Erie Monarchs I Great Lakes League
Benefield crushed his sixth home run of the summer on July 14, a game where the rising sophomore produced four RBI, on a 2-for-6 night. The Murfreesboro product is still second on the team in home runs, while over the past five games the right-handed slugger is batting .294.
Cody Puckett I LHP I Battle Creek Bombers I Northwoods League
Puckett picked up his third win of the season on July 16, throwing five innings, allowing one earned run on four hits and striking out eight. The southpaw is boasting a strong 2.31 ERA in 10 appearances.

The local product threw one inning, while facing five batters, allowing no runs and striking out one in the Great Lakes League All-Star Game this week.
Drew Huff I INF/OF I Alexandria Aces I Cal Ripken League
The up-and-coming sophomore made an appearance at the plate in the Cal Ripken League All-Star game, drawing a walk.
