Blue Raider Summer League Update: Playoff Edition

Several summer leagues have begun postseason play
MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—Several Blue Raiders are in the middle of a playoff push in the Collegiate Summer Leagues. The Great Lakes, Cal Ripken, Ohio Valley, and Sun Belt leagues have all started their postseason play.
Aaron Aucker I INF I Edenton Steamers I Coastal Plain League
Aucker continues his hot streak from the plate this summer, compiling at least one hit in five of his last six games. The Knoxville native had himself a day July 25, going 2-for-5 while smacking his eighth home run of the summer. The rising redshirt junior is leading the team with 42 RBI, which is third best in the Coastal Plain League.
Cody Puckett I LHP I Battle Creek Bombers I Northwoods League
Puckett had another solid start for the Bombers on July 23, throwing 6-1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out eight, in a Battle Creek win. The rising junior is 3-0 in his three games as a starter. The southpaw is now 4-1 on the season with a 2.42 ERA and 38 strikeouts.
Austin Dennis I INF I Forest City Owls I Coastal Plain League
The rising sophomore is on a seven-game hit streak and continues to torch the ball this summer. Over his last five contests Dennis is batting an extraordinary .450, while adding another homer, eight RBI and crossing the plate six times. He has been arguably the hottest hitter in the summer league smashing four home runs in his last 10 games.
Carson Lester I RHP I Hamilton Joes I Great Lakes League
Lester was outstanding in his first playoff start for the Joes, throwing five innings, allowing no runs, striking out four and picking up the win. The right hander continues his impressive summer posting a 2.35 ERA, while totaling 37 strikeouts.
Riley Delgado I INF I Plymouth Pilgrims I New England League
The rising senior is currently on a four-game hit streak for the Pilgrims, posting a .316 batting average over his last four contests. Delgado currently leads the team with 11 doubles and is tied for tops on the team with 35 hits this summer.
Drew Huff I INF/OF I Alexandria Aces I Cal Ripken League
On July 24, Huff made his first playoff start for the Aces, going 1-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in a loss against the Herndon Braves.
Kaleb King I OF I Hamilton Joes I Great Lakes League
In King's first playoff start with the Joes, the rising senior went 2-for-3 with a run in a 3-1 win over the Steam. The outfielder has 27 hits in 27 games this summer.
Jake Wyrick I LHP I Plymouth Pilgrims I New England League
Wyrick picked up two wins in his last two appearances with the Pilgrims. The southpaw came in relief on July 27, threw 1-2/3 innings allowing no runs, while striking out one. On July 21, Wyrick threw 1/3 innings in the victory.
