Raiders to face Syracuse in '17

Non-conference schedule is complete
MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee has completed its 2017 non-conference football schedule with a road trip to Syracuse as announced by both schools Thursday. The Blue Raiders will face the Orange on Sept. 9 inside the Carrier Dome.
It will mark the first meeting on the football field between the two schools and the first against a member of the ACC since 2013 (at UNC).
The Blue Raiders will also face Vanderbilt, Minnesota and Bowling Green to complete the non-conference slate. MT will open the season at home against the Commodores on Sept. 2 before traveling to Syracuse on Sept. 9. The Blue Raiders will play at Minnesota on Sept. 16 then host Bowling Green on Sept. 23.
The conference portion of the 2017 schedule will not be announced until next February.
