Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams to kick off fall season
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's men's and women's tennis teams announced the Wally Tidwell Pro-Am will start the fall season for both programs on Sept. 9-10 at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The event will begin at 5:30 on Sept. 9 with a tennis clinic, followed by a dinner that evening. After light refreshments and warmups starting at 7:45 on Saturday morning, the Ladies' and Men's Pro-Am competition will begin outdoors at the ATC.
Lunch will be served following the competition around noon.
The Pro-Am is a community tennis event that allows amateur tennis players to be paired with MT players, alumni, coaches, etc. and compete against one another in a doubles competition.
The event utilizes sponsors and entry fees to help fund the MT men's and women's tennis programs, helping them compete in Conference USA and nationally.
This year marks the 30th year the teams have partnered together to put on the event.
