Raiders match their round one score in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A rain-interrupted day at the Vanderbilt Legends Club saw the Blue Raiders hold their ground in round two of the Mason Rudolph Championship as they sit tied for 14th place through 36 holes.
Middle Tennessee was 21-over par on the second day and is currently 42-over (309-309=618) for the tournament.
Sophomore Hanley Long led the Blue Raiders again on day two with her second round of 2-over par 74. Her 36-hole total of 4-over (74-74=148) places her in a tie for 26th.
Freshman Katherine Holmes tallied a solid round of 4-over 76 on Saturday and stands at 16-over (84-76=160) for the tournament. She currently places tied for 74th.
Lacie York carded a 7-over 79 on the second day of competition and is currently 13-over (78-79=157) through 36 holes, placing her in a tie for 69th.
Samantha Gotcher notched an 8-over 80 on Saturday to push her two-round total to 14-over (78-80=158) and put her in a tie for 71st.
Jenna Burris completed the day at 12-over and currently sits at 19-over (79-84=163) through two rounds of play.
Long and Burris remain among the leaders in the field in Par 5 scoring as both are 1-under for the tournament on the Par 5 holes.
Long has also tallied a team-high 25 pars through 36 holes, three shy of the leader in the field of 81.
The Blue Raiders will go off of the 10th tee alongside Yale and Michigan State on the final day with Burris leading things off at 9:25 a.m.
