Basketball season tickets on sale

Teams will play 31 home games in 16-17
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Season tickets are on sale for the Middle Tennessee men's and women's basketball teams, and it features one of the best combined home schedules in school history.
The teams will play a combined 31 regular-season home games, in addition to three exhibition dates that is included in the cost of the season tickets.
Men's season tickets are $160, and the women's season tickets are $120, or fans may purchase a combination of both men's and women's season tickets at a discounted rate of $210.
The women's season ticket package includes a record-tying 16 home games, featuring visits from non-conference national powers Louisville (Nov. 16) and Arizona State (Dec. 13). Additional non-conference dates include a Power-5 match-up against Georgia Tech (Dec. 22), and games against Ohio (Nov. 30), Tulane (Dec. 3), Austin Peay (Dec. 17) and Central Michigan (Dec. 28), in addition to the C-USA schedule.
The men's season ticket package includes 15 home contests, featuring a Dec. 8 showdown against Vanderbilt. Middle Tennessee will open the season with four straight home games. After opening against Milligan (Nov. 11), the Blue Raiders face former OVC rivals Murray State (Nov. 15) and Tennessee State (Nov. 19) and cap the four-game homestand against Toledo (Nov. 22). The Blue Raiders' final non-conference home game is against Georgia State (Dec. 21). The schedule also includes nine C-USA games.
Middle Tennessee's women return four starters and eight letter winners from the 2016 C-USA champions that won 24 games and reached the NCAA Tournament for the 18th time in program history. The lineup includes two all-conference honorees who happen to be Murfreesboro natives – Ty Petty and C-USA Freshman of the Year Alex Johnson.
Middle Tennessee's men return all-conference standouts Giddy Potts and Reggie Upshaw, as well as seven letter winners from the 2016 C-USA champions that won 25 games and knocked off Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It marked the program's fourth postseason appearance in the last five seasons.
Fans will also want to mark Murphy Madness on the calendar, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. Children are welcome to a trunk or treat event in the Murphy Center Parking Lot and inside the Murphy Center from 4-to-6 p.m.
Group tickets are also available to groups of 20 or more at $7 each for most home games.
