Fans asked to bring jars of Peanut Butter
Fans are being asked to help 'Spread The Love' at select upcoming men's and women's basketball games.
Lee Company, in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, will be holding peanut butter drives at the women's basketball game on Saturday, February 4th against UTEP and at the men's game on Thursday, February 9th against Old Dominion.
Jars of peanut butter are being requested and Lee Company staff members will be onsite at the Murphy Center to help collect donations and thank fans with a limited number of rally towels.
"Lee Company has had a partnership with Second Harvest for many years. With so many of our employees and customers living in the Murfreesboro area and supporting MTSU sports, this collaboration with the program just made sense," says Gerry Vance, Lee Company Executive Vice President.
In addition to peanut butter, $25 will be donated to Second Harvest by Blue Raider Sports Properties and then matched by Lee Company for every successful three point basket made by MTSU during those games.
Lee Company, a third generation family owned business, has served Middle Tennessee home owners and businesses for more than seven decades. Lee Company is strongly committed to the communities it serves through volunteerism, partnerships and sponsorships.
