Lady Raiders cap weekend with North Texas

MT seeks 3-0 league start
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee seeks to keep its home court momentum rolling when the Lady Raiders host North Texas Saturday night to close the weekend.
Tip is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on 89.5 WMOT with Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey on the call. Fans can also follow a live video of the action via Conference USA's streaming site, CUSA.TV/RaiderVision.
The Lady Raiders (7-6, 2-0) lead the all-time series against the Mean Green (5-9, 2-1) with an 18-4 record, including 13 straight victories dating back to the 2006 season.
Ty Petty and Alex Johnson combined for 46 points in the Lady Raiders' 71-61 victory against the Rice Owls Thursday night. Petty, who also leads the country in minutes played a night, has averaged 24.7 points over the last three games.
North Texas enters Murphy Center riding a two-game win streak after eclipsing UAB 59-58 in overtime Thursday. Terriell Bradley paces the Mean Green offense with 12.3 points per game, while Terra Ellison collects 6.1 rebounds per night.
Following the weekend finale, Middle Tennessee hits the road for a matchup against Marshall Thursday before traveling to WKU Sunday.
