Ford of Murfreesboro to host men's basketball tip-off

Celebration event slated for Saturday, Oct. 28
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head men's basketball coach Kermit Davis and Ford of Murfreesboro are teaming up to help Blue Raider fans begin the 2017-18 college basketball season with a community tip-off event on Saturday, Oct. 28.
Davis will be in attendance to speak to and meet fans while Middle Tennessee's 2017 Conference USA Championship trophy will also be available for fans to take pictures with.
Lightning and the Middle Tennessee cheerleaders will also be at the celebration, where fans will have a chance to win men's basketball season tickets as well as autographed basketballs signed by Davis in a raffle.
"What a fantastic way to tip off Middle Tennessee basketball at Ford of Murfreesboro," Davis said. "I hope to see all of our great Blue Raider basketball fans that have been a huge part of our run of seven championships in the last eight years. We look forward to them being with us we start our 2017-18 Championship drive to success."
The event will be hosted by Ford of Murfreesboro at their dealership, located at 1550 NW Broad Street, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
