Raiders host final fall tournament Monday

10-team tourney at Old Ford GC
MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee will play and host its final tournament of the fall season on Monday at Old Fort Golf Club. The MTSU Intercollegiate will be a 10-team tourney that will also include 19 individuals.
The 36-hole event will be played in one day with a shotgun start beginning at 8 AM. Old Fort is a par 72, 7,061-yard course.
The 2017 field includes Austin Peay, Belmont, Bowling Green, Eastern Illinois, Middle Tennessee, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech. There will also be individuals playing from Austin Peay, Belmont, Bowling Green, Middle Tennessee, Morehead State, Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Vanderbilt.
The Blue Raider lineup will be junior James Beckner, sophomores Chip Thomas, Tanner Owens and Ilari Saulo, and redshirt freshman Tyler Johnson. Hoyeong Kim and Graham Gosselin will play as individuals and junior Marcus Byrd will not compete due to a wrist injury.
Fans are welcome to come out and support the Blue Raiders as the event is open and free to the public. Live scoring will also be available on golfstat.com.
