Vroman Named USTFCCCA Regional Coach of the Year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Associate Head Coach Keith Vroman was named the South Region Men's Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA Tuesday afternoon.
Vroman earns Middle Tennessee's first ever Regional Coach of the Year honor. He led the Blue Raiders to five meets wins this season including the squad's first ever C-USA Championship title, where he also earned Coach of the Year.
Vroman most recently led the Blue Raiders to their first ever NCAA South Regional title which gives the team its second straight trip to the NCAA Championships this weekend.
One coach from each region is chosen for this award. Vroman earned the honor ahead of other top programs in the country from the SEC and ACC.
In the latest USTFCCCA poll, the Blue Raiders come in at No. 22 in the country and are No. 20 by FloSports. Jacob Choge is ranked as the No. 4 runner in the country heading into the season culminating meet on Saturday.
Vroman leads the Blue Raiders as they will close out the season at the NCAA Championships, Saturday at 10 a.m. in Louisville, Ky.
