MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Lady Raiders opened their 2017-18 pre-season campaign with back-to-back wins for the first time since 2012. After clinching victories over two in-state competitors, Vanderbilt and Tennessee Tech, the Lady Raiders look to extend their streak to three as they host their next Tennessee rival, Lipscomb on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. in the Murphy Center.

Scouting the Opponent: Lipscomb
With four matches into the season, Lipscomb posts a 1-3 record entering the contest on Sunday. Senior guard Loren Cagle is the Bison to watch, leading the team in points during the first three games of the season and in rebounds during all-four contests this season.
Similarly, redshirt-freshman Emily Kmec paced the Lipscomb offense during their last matchup against Bulter inking 19 of the teams 58 points.
Last Time Out: Lady Raiders versus Tennessee Tech
The Lady Raiders clinched their 13th straight win over the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles to mark their 42nd win over the Tennessee-foe.
Senior Rebecca Reuter was the dominant force in the paint for Middle Tennessee during her last outing. The Cleveland, Tenn. product finished her outing with career-highs in points (23), field goals made (8-12) and free throws made (7-8) while recording a team-high six rebounds.
The victory over Tennessee Tech marked the 100th win for the Lady Raiders since joining Conference USA back in 2005.
