MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Single game tickets for both the men's and women's 2017-2018 Blue Raider basketball home games are now on sale at GoBlueRaiders.com/tickets.
Both November schedules feature premiere in-state matchups in the Murphy Center, with the women tipping off the home opener versus in-state foe Tennessee Tech on November 14 and follow that on November 19 against Lipscomb. Tickets against the Bison start at just $1.00!
Meanwhile, the men's basketball home opener is this Friday, November 10th against Trevecca. The home opener doubles as 'Education Day' geared towards using sports as an educational platform, which will feature students from at least 20 different Rutherford County Schools in attendance.
The following Thursday, November 16th, is 'Community Heroes Night' when Belmont comes to town. Prior to the game, fans are invited to arrive early to explore Rutherford County first responder vehicles on the concourse outside the Murphy Center main entrance area. During the game, members of the MT Police Department, Rutherford County Police Department, Rutherford County EMS and Rutherford County Fire and Rescue will be recognized.
The men's marquee home game in November comes on the 21st against Florida Gulf-Coast. Dubbed the 'Cinderella Showdown,' this will be the first regular season match-up for head coach Kermit Davis and his squad against a non-conference, non-power five NCAA Tournament team. Like the Blue Raiders, the Eagles have been a part of March Madness three times in the previous five seasons.
For more information, call the Blue Raider ticket office at 615-898-5261.
