MT Holds steady in 10th through 36 holes

TUCSON, Ariz. – Middle Tennessee finished day two at the MountainView Collegiate Saturday holding steady in 10th place after shaving six strokes off of its day one score with a 13-over 301.
The Blue Raiders are now 32-over (307-301=608) after two days of play at MountainView Golf Club.
Sophomore Jenna Burris continued her hot spring season, carding a 2-under 70 to lead the Blue Raiders in the second round. She now sits just outside the Top 10 in a tie for 12th place at 2-over (76-70=146) for the tournament.
Senior Samantha Gotcher logged an even par 72 in round two to move to 8-over par (76-72=148) for the tournament and sits in a tie for 45th place through 36 holes.
Sophomore Hanley Long and junior Cynthia Bounleutay each matched their day one scores on Saturday. Long (77-77=154) is 52nd in the field while Bounleutay (78-78=156) is tied for 56th.
Senior Lacie York rounds out the Blue Raider lineup after cutting five strokes off of her first round score to sit at 21-over (85-80=165) through two rounds.
