Spring drills begin March 15
MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee offensive linemen Jonathan Roth and Treyton Peters have been medically disqualified as announced by Head Coach Rick Stockstill today. Both sustained injuries which prohibits them from further competition.
"I really hate to see a young man's career cut short because of things out of his control," added Stockstill. "Both will remain involved with the program but will no longer be able to play."
Roth, a rising redshirt sophomore from Knoxville, Tenn., played in nine games last year and had two starts.
Peters, a true freshman in 2016, took a redshirt year after joining the program from Harriman High School in Rockwood, Tenn.
The Blue Raiders will begin spring drills on March 15.
