The Blue Raiders tied with No. 26 Missouri while standing just three shots back of No. 21 Duke. MT was fourth in the field in par 5 scoring (19-under) and third in birdies with 58.
"This was a good solid week for us against a field that will resemble an NCAA Regional," said Head Coach Brennan Webb. "In a field full of All-Americans, Joey's (Savoie) top three finish is another step toward proving that he is a world class player.
"I am extremely proud of Hoyeong (Kim) and his performance this week. His improvement from last year at this time has been incredible and a testament to his perseverance, work ethic and belief. Watching him finish his round today with a birdie to shoot 68 was one of my most memorable experiences as a coach."

His 207 54-hole score equaled the ninth-best in Blue Raider golf history. Savoie ranked second in the field in par 3 scoring (3-under) and notched 13 birdies total for the week.
