MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee pitching coach JP Davis has resigned as announced by Blue Raider Head Baseball Coach Jim McGuire Monday.
McGuire said a national search will be conducted to fill the position.
"I want to thank Coach Davis for his hard work at Middle Tennessee over the last three years," McGuire said. "I wish Coach Davis the best with his future endeavors."
McGuire said the search for a new pitching coach will begin immediately.
"Obviously, we want to get the new coach in here as soon as possible this summer so he has time to get acclimated and learn about the players we have returning."
