Delgado, Dennis Named to the C-USA All-Academic Team

This is a first-time honor for both student-athletes
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Riley Delgado and Austin Dennis were named to the InTouch Credit Union 2017 C-USA Baseball All-Academic Team, the league office announced this afternoon.
"They are a model of what it means to be a student-athlete," said Head Coach Jim McGuire. "They both are big contributors on and off the field, but what a lot of people don't see is their dedication in the classroom. I am proud of what they've accomplished."
Delgado is a senior with a 3.82 GPA in Leisure, Sport & Tourism Studies, while earning the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal this season. The Miami, Fla. native, is a two-time honoree of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll in his two years as a Blue Raider.
Dennis is a sophomore with a 3.85 GPA in Business Administration, while earning the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal in his two seasons at MT. The Rockledge, Fla. native, is also a two-time honoree of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Both have exemplified what it means to be student-athlete, getting it done on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Delgado and Dennis started a combined 220 out of 222 games over the last two seasons at Middle Tennessee.
