MT set for NCAA East Regional Preliminaries

Blue Raiders have 15 seeking to advance to NCAA Championships
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee seeks to continue its postseason success as the Blue Raiders travel to the NCAA East Regional Preliminaries.
Action from Lexington, Ky. gets underway Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the field events before the track events begin at 3:30 p.m.
On the men's side, Tahir Walsh, Eliud Rutto and Jacob Choge will compete in multiple events, while Sampson Laari, Hillary Rono, Kigen Chemadi, Amos Cheruiyot and Geoffry Cheruiyot are also set to compete on the track in distance events.
In the field, sophomore Jacob Patten is slated to make an appearance in the high jump.
Janet Amponsah, Loveth Odia, Agnes Abu, Abike Egbeniyi and Elizabeth Dadzie will take part in multiple events for the women's team. Along with their respective individual events, Amponsah, Odia, Abu and Egbeniyi have their eyes set on advancing to the NCAA Championships in the 4x400-meter dash.
In the field, Dadzie and Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad seek to qualify in the long jump.
Portions of all three days will be broadcast on SEC Network+ via the WatchESPN app.
