Every starter collects hit in win
Middle Tennessee tallied 15 hits, including five for extra bases, and six different Blue Raiders finished with multi-hit games in the win.
Riley Delgado, Brad Jarreau, Ryan Kemp, Manuel Lopez, Blake Benefield and Chaz Vesser each had two hits, and Kaleb King helped get the Blue Raiders jumpstarted with a three-run home run in the bottom of the first.
Reid Clements improved to 3-0 with the victory on the mound. Clements worked two innings of one-hit relief to earn the win, while Drew Huff came on to pitch the ninth and earn his third save.
Middle Tennessee exploded for six runs in the bottom of the first inning off two Tennessee Tech pitchers. Tech starter Seth Noel was roughed up for six runs, all earned, on seven hits in one-third of an inning before giving way to Devin Lancaster.
Blue Raider starting pitcher Tyler Hasper made his first appearance since March 18 and provided a solid inning at the outset to provide another bright spot.
Middle Tennessee will hit the road for a three-game series against Rice in Houston this weekend.
