MT eyes national titles at NCAA Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee seeks to add to its successful season as the Blue Raiders head to Eugene, Ore. for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Action from Hayward Field gets underway Wednesday, where on the men's side, Eliud Rutto is set for the 800 Meter run semifinal and Jacob Choge eyes a shot at a national championship in the 10000 Meter run final.

Choge is also slated for a chance at a national title in the men's 5000 Meter run Friday night.

Abike Egbeniyi and Agnes Abu kick off the women's action on Thursday night as the duo will compete in the 800 Meter run semifinal.

MT's Elizabeth Dadzie is also set to compete in the women's heptathlon. The combined events begin Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the 100 Meter Hurdles and conclude Saturday evening.
