Two Blue Raiders named C-USA Scholar Athletes of Year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Two Middle Tennessee student-athletes have been chosen as C-USA Scholar Athletes of the Year in their respective sports as chosen by the league's Faculty Athletics Representatives.
Brent Stockstill was selected as C-USA football's top scholar-athlete, while Sampson Laari was named the C-USA men's track and field scholar-athlete of the year.
The C-USA Scholar Athlete of the Year awards are presented to the top student-athletes in each c conference-sponsored sport, determined by a vote of the league's 14 FARs. The award is based on academic achievement (GPA), athletic achievement and service.
