Free food and lots of giveaways
MURFREESBORO – This Sunday, August 20th, the Middle Tennessee Athletics Department will host its annual Fan Day inside of Floyd Stadium from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
This event is a great opportunity for fans to pick up 2017 schedule posters and meet this year's Blue Raider Football, Volleyball, and Soccer teams and coaching staffs. In addition to traditional autographs and pictures, there will be inflatables, free food and drinks, and live music performed by popular Middle Tennessee band, Everyday People. Fans will also be able to pick up an "Our Town. Our Team." yard sign and check out several sponsors who will be set up in the North end zone providing free giveaways.
In conjunction with the Fan Day, the athletic department will bring back its MT Garage Sale inside Floyd Stadium near Gate 2. The MT Garage Sale will start at 2 p.m. and will feature Nike gear, jerseys, shoes, and other athletic equipment items.
During Fan Day, the Blue Raider Ticket Office will be holding a select-a-seat event inside Floyd Stadium. This provides fans a chance to see which seats are still available for the 2017 season. For normal business hours and game days, the Blue Raider Ticket Office is located at Gate 1A. For Fan Day, the Blue Raider Ticket Office will be set up near Gate 2 for fans to purchase tickets.
For fans looking to stock up on new Blue Raider gear for the upcoming season, Lightning's Locker Room will be open at the Gate 2 location.
Following Fan Day, everyone is encouraged to head over to the Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium for the Women's Soccer home opening game versus Austin Peay at 6:00 p.m.
