Soccer Adds Valentina Manns to 2017 Squad

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - With the Middle Tennessee soccer team beginning team training camp today, Wednesday, August 2 the Blue Raiders welcome a final new face to the squad in Valentina Manns.
She is another junior college midfielder who joins the fold from Golden West College. Manns was a four-goal scorer who earned 17 starts in 18 games as a freshman.
The Frankfort, Ill., native played prep soccer at Lincoln Way North High School while also being a member of club team Eclipse SC.
"Valen has great physical attributes, is a ball winner and is very strong in the air," Rhoden said. "Her passing range will help us get behind defenses from deeper positions and her communication skills will help us stay organized in midfield."
Manns and the 25 other Raiders will be working in training camp before heading out for their first exhibition match at Alabama on Thursday, August 10.
