Season Tickets on sale for men's and women's hoops

Murphy Center to host 26 regular season home games
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Season tickets are on sale for the Middle Tennessee men's and women's basketball teams, with strong home slates again in 2017-18 for both Blue Raider squads.
The teams will play a combined 26 regular-season home games, in addition to three exhibition dates that is included in the cost of the season tickets.
Men's season tickets are $160, and the women's season tickets are $120, or fans may purchase a combination of both men's and women's season tickets at a discounted rate of $210. The deadline for season ticket renewals is Oct. 4.
The men's season ticket package includes 13 home contests in the regular season, featuring a Dec. 9 showdown against Ole Miss. Middle Tennessee will open the season at home against Trevecca on Nov. 10 and return home to face Belmont on Nov. 16. The Blue Raiders host mid-major power Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 21 before finishing the non-conference home slate against Ole Miss. MT's nine C-USA home games include LA Tech (Jan. 11), Southern Miss (Jan. 13), UTSA (Jan. 25), UTEP (Jan. 27), Rice (Feb. 8), North Texas (Feb. 10), UAB (Feb. 24), WKU (Mar. 1) and Marshall (Mar. 3).
The women's season ticket package also includes 13 regular season home games, featuring a visit from SEC power Kentucky (Dec. 28). Additional non-conference home dates include in-state foes Tennessee Tech (Nov. 14) and Lipscomb (Nov. 19) as well as Coppin State (Dec. 5) and Troy (Dec. 14). The Lady Raiders will host UAB (Jan. 6), North Texas (Jan. 18), Southern Miss (Jan. 20), Charlotte (Jan. 28), LA Tech (Feb. 1), WKU (Feb. 15), Rice (Feb. 17) and Old Dominion (Mar. 3) in the Conference USA portion of the schedule.
Middle Tennessee's men return All-Conference USA standout and Conference USA Tournament MVP Giddy Potts as well as six letter winners from the 2017 C-USA Championship squad that won a school-record 31 games and defeated No. 5 seed Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It marked the program's fifth postseason appearance in the last six seasons.
Middle Tennessee's women return four starters and nine letter winners from the 2017 team that won 23 games and reached the third round of the NIT. The lineup includes All-Conference USA selection Alex Johnson, C-USA All-Defensive selection Abbey Sissom and C-USA Sixth Player of the Year Gabby Lyon.
Fans will also want to mark Murphy Madness on the calendar, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.
