Patten Earns Second C-USA Athlete of the Week Accolade

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Following the Kevin Stevenson Invite on Sunday, senior Jacob Patten has been named the Conference USA Men's Field Athlete of the Week by the conference office earlier this morning.
Patten inked a second place finish in the high jump at a height of 2.15m. His jump of 2.15m in the event marks his best of the season. Similarly, the senior also recorded a distance of 14.63m to place second in the triple jump event.
The Memphis, Tennessee native leads the Conference USA field in the high jump, respectively.
Patten earned his first C-USA Athlete of the Week accolade after his performance at the Ed Temple Classic on Sunday, Jan. 7 were he recorded two first place finishes in his respective events.
The Blue Raiders will return to action this weekend to host the MTSU Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 3.
