Minter to play in SPIRAL Tropical Bowl

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Middle Tennessee redshirt senior cornerback Mike Minter Jr. will hit the gridiron on Sunday, Jan. 14, to take part in the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl.
Held at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida, the third annual game, kicking off at 9 a.m., will feature some of the nation's best Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) players. They'll get the chance to show their skills in front of more than 100 NFL scouts.
Since 2016, over 110 players from the Tropical Bowl have gone on to the NFL, including more in the CFL and professional arena leagues.
Minter had a solid career for the Blue Raiders. The Atlanta, Georgia, native finished his senior campaign with 47 tackles, four tackles for loss, one interception and 11 passes defended. He started in 36 career games, all coming in the last three seasons.
The Tropical Bowl is considered a top-four bowl game by scouts and is attended my almost every NFL team. It is presented by East Preps, and NFL DRAFT BLITZ is the featured sponsor. Sponsors also include MVP Wealth Management Group, True to Yourself Brand and the broadcast partner, FloFootball by FloSports.

The SPIRAL Tropical Bowl roster is unique in that it gives NFL and CFL scouts a chance to view and get to know the best college football players from the top FBS schools across the nation.
The players will be split into two teams: the National Team, coached by award-winning and 18-year NFL veteran coach Mike Stock, formerly of the Green Bay Packers; and the American Team, coached by experienced former FBS coach R. Todd Littlejohn, who has coached for New Mexico, Syracuse and Cal.
Scout Ken Moll, a 13-year NFL scouting veteran, is the Tropical Bowl's scouting executive, and he will be assisted by former Fritz-Pollard NFL Scout of the Year Jerry Hardaway, who is also in the Ourlads Pro Scout Hall of Fame.
