Blue Raiders remain in ninth
AUGUSTA, Ga. – After a 30 minute rain delay slowed the start of day two at Forest Hills Golf Club, the Blue Raiders came out and posted a solid round of 10-over 298 to narrow the gap between the two teams just ahead of them in the standings.
Middle Tennessee remains in ninth in the field at 28-over par (306-298=604) for the tournament after shaving eight strokes off their first round score.
Junior Hanley Long fired a 3-under 69 on Saturday to vault up the leaderboard into a tie for 12th place and is looking to follow up a strong 12th place finish last week at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami.
Freshman Caroline Caudill posted an impressive round of her own in round two at 1-over par (73) and sits just outside the Top 25 in a tied for 26th.
Sunday's tee times will be at 8:00 a.m. CT in a shotgun start. Live scoring of the final round can be found at GolfStat.com.

"Everything was working for me on the front nine. I was striking the ball solid and hitting all my spots putting. It seemed like every shot I visualized in my head I executed. Things got a little rocky on the back nine with a couple of errant shots but I held it together and tried to play pretty conservatively to keep my round going. Overall, I'm really pleased with how I played but there are definitely a couple of tweaks that can be made for tomorrow." – Junior Hanley Long
