The Bison currently lead the all-time series between the two schools 29-24.
The Blue Raiders (11-9) had a strong showing last week, shutting out Austin Peay and winning two-out-of-three against the Hilltoppers. The bats remained hot as well, as Middle Tennessee averaged 6.75 runs per contest in last week's games.
Senior Aaron Aucker is leading the way for MT at the plate, hitting at a .320 clip with six doubles and six home runs. Aucker also leads the Blue Raiders in RBI (26) and total bases (48).
Grant Williams is scheduled to start on the mound for the Blue Raiders. Williams has been completely dominant in his last two starts, throwing a combined 12.0 scoreless innings on only four hits and nine strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Lipscomb (9-11) has been up and down this season, including series wins at home against Michigan and UNC-Ashville.
Both teams share several common opponents, such as Tennessee, Fairleigh Dickinson, Kent State and Indiana State, with the Bison only winning one game against the four opponents.
Lipscomb is led at the plate by a pair of upperclassman, senior catcher Jeffrey Crisan and junior third baseman Zeke Dodson.
