Caudill cards career low to lead Raiders in Tucson

MT in eighth, Caudill in Top 5
TUCSON, Ariz. – The Blue Raider women's golf team got off to a strong start Friday at the MountainView Collegiate, posting an 11-over par 299 in the opening round to sit in eighth place through 18 holes.
Freshman Caroline Caudill paved the way for Middle Tennessee, carding a career low 2-under 70 to find herself in a tie for fifth place after round one. The Clarksville, Tenn., native used four birdies to vault herself into the Top 5 in the field of 81 golfers.
Fellow freshman Sophie Burks as well as senior Cynthia Bounleutay each logged a 4-over 76 on Friday while redshirt junior Jenna Burris turned in a 5-over 77.
Saturday's tee times begin off of the first and tenth tees at 10:00 a.m. CT. Junior Hanley Long will go first for the Blue Raiders.
