AUBURN, Ala. – Abike Egbeniyi claimed a first place finish in the women's 400-meter dash to claim the best Blue Raider finish of the War Eagle Invitational. The junior inked a time of 52.48 in the respective event.

Likewise, Joycelyn Assafuah (55.13) claimed an eighth place finish the 400-meter event while Loveth Odia (56.71) registered a 16th place finish in the event. On the men's side Jaquez Torian notched a fifth place finish in the men's 400-meter event with a time of 47.37.

Racheal Kosgei inked a third place finish in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:38.42).

In the men's 100-meter dash Solomon Afful finished in third place finish with a time of 10.58 while Lamarco Petty finished in 12th place (10.74).

Moving to the field events, Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad claimed a fifth place finish in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.89-meters. Similarly, Isaac Odugbesan inked a third place finish in the men's shot out with a distance of 18.72-meters.

The Blue Raiders will return to the track next weekend to compete in the Penn Relays and at the Louisville Invitational.
